This was an impromptu decision born out of original plans to meet other hikers going sideways. Since I woke up at 2:30 AM, picked an friend I hadnt seen in 10 years up and drove a few hours away, I had to come up with a backup plan fast. I decided on Buffalo, because it was close by and apparently I had already saved the route on my Gaia app at some point. It was a class 2 over some massive boulderfields on the way up, then a class 3 scramble over to Sacred Buffalo.
