Disclaimer: Trail is non existent and wildflower overgrown .... Start from about 2km in on Lineman's trail and just hike up the vert. Everything has been overgrown I could not see any semblance of a preexisting route but still very easy to find your way up. Bushwhack the wildflowers and through the previous forest everything for the most part has been burned due to the 2017 Kenow Fire; it is wonderful sight in its own right. Waterton being extremely windy cutting up towards the ridge was a challenge. Gale like winds made it very difficult to stand even with trekking poles, would recommend checking wind reports before attempting. When I held my poles from the fabric loop in the wind they were near horizontal due to winds. Even though it was +30 at the base, up there beanie, goggles and jacket were necessary. Hiked 50m shy of the true summit and tried to wait out the winds for 30min, they persisted and increased at points, ridge line walking was not worth the risk. I call it a summit in my book, but ill be back for sure to hit that last 50m. Cheers.
