With permission I walked the hydro access road and pipeline track to the weir and water intake on the TL branch of Rubieslaw Creek. From there I walked upstream to the un-named small lake then climbed steeply to the ridge on the TL of the creek. Point 1087m was summited and then it was an easy walk along the ridge to Ruberslaw which has a surviving iron pipe trig on the summit. There are great views from the tops once above the bush and scrub. [This was accomplished as a day trip but be aware there is a lot of untracked bush and scrub country to traverse which can be slow going especially for those not used to untracked country.]
