"First hike towards the Adirondack 46er challenge. Left from Rt. 9N trailhead (New Russia); hiked over Blueberry Cobbles, Mason Mt., Bald Peak, Rocky Peak, to Rocky Peak Ridge." — hunterjfrost • Sep 8, 2020
"Wow ,, what a day chasing RPR today,#22 ADK 46er to Rocky Peak Ridge Via New Russia, Trails were in great shape No Amazing shape with "some" snow on the upper north sides of the higher elevations which were easily passable with out leaving the main trail, A few wet and muddy spots to cross but no more then you would see after a good rain in july,, black flies were terrible though, some new light trail maintenance along the trail, new lines painted on rocky summits and a couple water crossing along the way,, Great day with Awesome company, " — ramjet1963 • May 19, 2019
"4th peak of a 5 peak day. This one we saw on the map and wondered what it was. The spot height was on the Topo but the peak wasn't named. On getting to the trailhead for Rocky Peak Ridge from the NY route 9 side, we saw on the sign that it said "Rocky Peak" 5.4 miles. Comparing that to out GPX track, we now knew that the peak was "Rocky Peak". This peak is not part of Rocky Peak Ridge, as that ridge runs North to South, this peak is to the East. A long tough slog with some steep sections. But a great trail none the less." — HikingViking • Sep 23, 2017
