Actually a rather enjoyable trip. Sure it is 16 miles and like 3.2k feet of gain but it really isn't a hard hike. There is a bit of cross country once Manter Creek leaves the "trail". The more north you go on Rockhouse the more class 3 it is. We did it straight from the trail and I can say it was some serious scrambling. Enjoyable though,
