"Actually a rather enjoyable trip. Sure it is 16 miles and like 3.2k feet of gain but it really isn't a hard hike. There is a bit of cross country once Manter Creek leaves the "trail". The more north you go on Rockhouse the more class 3 it is. We did it straight from the trail and I can say it was some serious scrambling. Enjoyable though," — Irrationalist • Oct 11, 2015
"Fun adventure along creek, meadow, and canyon to an isolated peak in the Domeland Wilderness. The poor conditions of the trail (basically non-existent for half of the 15 mi RT) kept things interesting throughout. Class 2/3 climb to the top." — klotito • Oct 19, 2014
"After seeing Rockhouse peak from Church dome the day before, i knew i wanted to climb it. My friend and i were camping at Manter meadow, so we headed down the Manter creek trail then XC to the peak. Most of the climb was steep and brushy, but there is some nice rock climbing at the summit. The views over Rockhouse basin and the Domeland wilderness were incredible." — DerekJayRichardson • May 25, 2014
