Arrived by 7 AM to secure a parking spot at the La Tuna Canyon Trailhead. From there it is a straightforward hike on Hostetter Fire Road to Verdugo Motorway. Made a quick stop at Robert Katz Peak before reaching the summit of Mt Verdugo. I encircled the caged summit before heading back to La Tuna Canyon Road.
