"I started from the trailhead in the neighborhood and then I passed through the waterfall by a submerged dam. The trail was decent and then crossed over Santiago creek later. Then I went up the windes nature trail and then there was decent views. Then I climbed up the Pacifica trail, and the summit had nice views. The historic dam was a nice waterfall and I went over the creek and crossed the sour grass meadow. Then I went up to the peralta hills trail, which had some mustard flowers. The I went up the summit of the Robber's Roost. Then I climbed up to the summit on the steep us trail. The views were the best in the park. Then I went down to the flag pole, which had decent views. Then I climbed barham deer peak, which had decent views. Then I went down Barham ridge to Lookout peak. It had a sign and a bike pump on the summit. It had decent views. I went down the mountain goat trail and then went down the Bumble bee trail. Then I climbed back up the ridge and then summited grasshopper mountain. It had decent views and then continued down the grasshopper trail. the ridge had nice views. Then I went by the historic dam and the Heritage oak was a nice view. Then I went the way I came. "A nice short hike with my grandpa while being sick. Started at the elementary school parking lot as I climbed the trail behind the school. It was hard on my weakend lungs from the sickness but I eventually climbed to Robbers Roost. There were nice views from the top and I went to the nearby flag pole, which also had nice views. Then I descend to a saddle and went to the Anaheim Hills Trail to get back down." — lc444 • Oct 15, 2023
"Started from the Anaheim Hills Elementary School parking lot. Made a quick stop at Robbers Peak. From the summit, I could see the rest of the lower peaks visited on the hike. By sticking to Barham Ridge, I quickly visited Barham-Deer Peak, Lookout Peak, and Rock-Succulent Peak. After visiting the first 4 peaks, and instead of returning the way I came, I dropped into Santiago Oaks Regional Park to form a loop hike. I passed through the eastern edge of Santiago Oaks and climbed back up to Grasshopper Mountain. From there it was just a matter of closing out the loop on the way back to the parking lot." — MikeTeeples • Apr 9, 2022
"I did this ride a few months ago so I remember everything. We started at the parking lot of the Santiago Creek Trail. Then we went into this small road. Then we went onto the Santiago Creek Trail. Then I saw benchmarks (witch whrer actually witness posts). Then we went on a steep downhill and the a level part. Then we went onto a small trail with a steep downhill. Then we crossed a tiny bridge. Then merged onto the Lady Bug Trail. Then we saw a small concrete ford. We crossed the ford. Then we merged onto the Towhhe Trail. Then wee=e merged onto the Wilderness Trail. Then after that the Bobcat meadows Trail. Then after that the trail turned into the Mountain Goat trail. Then we went to Lookout Peak. It had great views and a sign. Then we went on the Barham Ridge Trail. It crossed many divides and saddles. Then we went onto the summit of Barham-Deer or whatever peak. It had a shelter atop it. Then I went to Robbers Peak (aka Robber's Roost). Then I went dioown on the oak TRail. Then I saw 2 shelters. One I named Uopper Resthouse and the other lower rEsthouse. Then I came back the way I came. After a few minutes of riding I came to a peak I named Grasshopper Mountain. The summit had ..." — lcnguyen • Jan 3, 2022
"I was actually using a previous report on Peak 1257 to get me to the start of this trail (because I thought I was hiking Peak 1257). Because of that, I followed Ave de Santiago to its end and began walking from there. While walking out to the peak, I noted that it looked very similar to Robbers Peak. Before arriving, I checked out the placement of an American Flag at a high point to the east of the peak. I Then continued on to the peak. On the way, I realized that this had to be Robbers Peak, because it looked just like my last visit to Robbers Peak. On the way back, I looked at maps online and realized that there is another segment of Ave de Santiago to the east. Still, the mileage matched the other one, about 1 mile round trip from this approach to Robbers Peak." — MikeTeeples • Sep 22, 2018
"Moderate hike up Peralta Hills (just one of many ways to the summit) to Edition Ridge, following past the gate at the end of Santiago Oaks Regional Park and up a short distance to the rock outcrop on the top. Very nice views." — brianpowell • Nov 6, 2015
"We night Hiked up here during a heat wave to escape the heat and enjoy the city lights. It was a fantastic hike. on the way up we saw the silhouettes of 2 deer on the ridge above us. The peak it self was fantastic! we enjoyed it for a while as we sat back drinking some beer and getting stoned. We took some fun picks and then went to the American Flag pole for some more fun pics." — 1-with-Nature • Sep 25, 2014
