This was a nice day hike from the spring on the north side of the island. We took the trail over Chokan Yama to Rishiri san Kita Mine. From here we stepped over the rope and bushwhacked our way to the island high point, Minami Mine. Made it back for the 2:35 ferry with time to spare.
