"Epic climb before the guides closed the mountain because of dangerous conditions. They all commented on the lack of snow at the summit and the warm temperatures. Ascent was straight forward with some fixed rope aids. Descent was brutal with all the down climbing and route finding required. 4 hours up and 3:40 down." — oregon-mt-goat • Jul 21, 2022

"Traversed the Mittellegi ridge from Eigerglestcher to the Mittellegi hut where we spent the night. Continued on to the summit the next morning and back around the Mönch to the Jungfraujoch station. Great conditions. The fixed ropes make this climb meaningfully easier. Still took us 8 hours from hut to train." — danishclimber • Jul 29, 2021

"My first ever single push ascent on an alpine fourthousander! Zinal - Bishorn - Zinal in 8h 26m. Full trip report here: https://cyberminercom.wixsite.com/mountainberserker/bishorn-singlepush" — Christos • Jul 25, 2020

"Walked from lake geneva upto tete du paccot. Following trails through the villages. Was a lovely walk upto le cou cou on pretty much road or paved tracks. From here the tracks took a rougher more unstable footing and severely steeper. Almost reaching the summit the weather turned and the clouds came rolling in. Being on my own and under prepared for bad weather I turned around at around 1,400 metres.
Very enjoyable day out with glorious views. " — thc4ms • Sep 7, 2019

"The day after summiting Dom we descended from the Domhutte (2936m) to Randa (1400m), and on the same day fully loaded the huge backpack and walked up to the Taschhutte (2700m) from Tasch (1400m). Starting the next day at 4 am, we summited Alphubel by the SE ridge (PD+) with some fun snow climb on the steep snow slope below the summit plateau (4206m). Returned by the easy normal route and all the way down to Tasch (1400m). This concludes my 14 days of almost non-stop ascents to 13 peaks (10 UIAA 4000ers) with 150km of total distance walked/climbed and +14,000 elevation gain. What a great trip I had! Miss the Alps already... " — Christos • Aug 16, 2019
