"The day started with a trip to Mount Bates. In the morning, we drove to Mt Pitt and walked to Mt Bates to operate, before we returned to the hotel. In the afternoon, I joined a group going up to Mount Pitt to play microwave radio. We parked and walked up to the summit. The gear was set up on the picnic table . Roger VK2ZRH / VK9NJ had travelled to Kingston and set up at the east end of the old gaol complex. Contacts were made on 3.4 GHz and 10 GHz." — peterfreeman • Oct 29, 2016
