"Bruce and Alex made the 1st summit at 17,066 across the glacier that was treacherous in late May with black ice and marbly stones. Pemba made it to the stomach. Vicente could've gone all the way but stayed with me on the south summit at 16,540 feet where I hunkered down on the ground next to the ruins of camp 2 because the wind was brutally threatening to take me off of my feet. This is a tough objective and also one of the best days of my life." — wendyglitterhippie • May 30, 2019
"Was wondering why there is no logged summits though it's very accessible in terms of distance. Driving to a "trailhead" (service road continuation on E side), realized that most likely whenever they film slum area(s) of Tijuana, they do it there: run down houses, "interesting" looks, a rolled over and burnt car. Too bad didn't make any photos. After talking to a Uber driver, gave it up. On the way back, got passed by rushing 10-12 police cars and 4 ambulances. " — alexp • Dec 7, 2018
"Summitted Sunday Feb 21 2016 at 10:15 am. Perfect day. Leaving super early (before dawn) was a great idea - thanks Max Becker. My first summit. More to follow. Incredible view - I guess they're all like this?" — jackcampbell • Feb 20, 2016
— ivan-santamaria-holek • Jan 30, 2016
"Summit was very hard. 35ºC and very dry air. Many many... many thorny bushes and cactus, mainly bishop's weed (biznagas). At the end, the boulder has 20 meter high in some zones. Some of us need cords to get the summit. " — ivan-santamaria-holek • May 2, 2015
