"Short walk from the Sevan lake shore. There is interesting church/monastery close to the peak. At the exact top i found remainintings of the building. Excellent views to Sevan lake and surrounding mountains. " — Deividas • Jul 7, 2013
"There are no marked trail to the peak. Therefore I seek for a guide. And I was very lucky. Instead of one I found two:). Mher and Arsak. Both are excellent companions and both professionally knows the area. I can recommend to everyone. They spent in the Armenian mountains many years. So, even though the hike was not difficult, I was very happy having a guides. Started from meteorological station, which  located near the lake Kari (Kari stands for Stone). Station staff offered coffee, so the morning started very well. Country is famous for hospitality! We hike up to the southern peak via ridge located in the East from lake. On the top it become a bit cloudy, however from time to time it was possible to observe whole crater. After small break we descended down via northern ridge toward the West Summit.. From Kari lake to the peak it was about 5 km horizontal and about 700 vertical metres. We continue to the West Summit." — Deividas • Jul 6, 2013
"Peak must be the second highest peak in Armenia, after the Aragats North Summit, which is located about 2 kilometers NE. After we hike Aragats South Peak It was second peak that day. From the saddle between peaks it's about half kilometer horizontal and about 200 vertical meters. Not hard, but there are no marked trail. So, again, i should thank guide Mher for choosing route and in the meantime telling me a lot of interesting things from daily life of locals. Route back was quite easy. It;s about 5-6 kilometers to the Kari lake, dropping about 800 vertical meters. We choose walking on snow, just because it;s easier comparing to the naked stones. We get back to lake pretty quick and also made small detour to the hill called - Gora Gel'-Zairat. " — Deividas • Jul 6, 2013
