"This is a triple peak loop well suited for a cool weathered day. First was Peak 1452. Peak 1452 is to the north of the parking area. I followed the first dirt road from the right of the parking area. This led to a saddle between Peak 1452 and the ridge road. I scrambled to the top from there. Next, I descended back to the ridge and followed the dirt road to where it intersected another dirt road. I turned right here and proceeded to climb Rattlesnake Mountain. After enjoying the views, a retreated back down the dirt road and continued straight to Peak 1739. At a point closest to the peak, I left the dirt road and took a steep use trail which eventually connected with a wider trail. This led to two distinctive summits on Peak 1739. This was the highest of the three peaks. Afterwards, I followed the wide pathway back to my starting point at the end of 20th Street. During the day, I shared some of the dirt roads with dirt bikers, but fortunately there were only a few of them there." — MikeTeeples • Jan 20, 2019
"Took a walk from my home down to Rattlesnake Mt. about 3.4 miles to the base. From the peak then took path southwest to the Riverside rock quarry then looped back around to Rattlesnake and back home. " — JohnnyMar • Mar 31, 2012
