2.13.2021~3 Peak run/trek w/Jimmy. Rainbow View, Rainbow Ridge & Tricolor Peaks, Rainbow Gardens, NV. 7 miles, 1,200’ gain in 2:46hrs. We parked at a Wetlands Park connector trailhead then jogged up Lava Butte road to access the peaks. This area is so stunning & colorful. It’s a mini Grand Canyon experience but only 15 mins from my home. The views from the peaks are some of the best I’ve ever seen. I loved the groomed jeep trails for jogging and plan to come back for some long distance run/touring. Great area! I can’t get enough of Rainbow Gardens.
