"Started the trail from the junction at Allison Creek Rd and walked up the ATV road to Racehorse Pass. Headed up the right hand side of the drainage gully through the vegetation until the scree started. We made our way up through the scree, sticking close to a ridge of rock slab for easier footing. Used the rock slab multiple times to speed up the ascent up to the ridge top and continued along the ridgeline towards the summit. The ridge line becomes a series of easily climbed rock slabs and eventually leads to a scree filled summit. The summit was windy as is usual for the area but we were able to duck out of the wind on the east side of the summit. Heading down, we headed towards the saddle and side sloped across the bowl and exited through the left hand side of the gully, when looking up." — Warrietaylor • Oct 8, 2023
"A bike and Hike. Pushed the MTB up an ATV trail to Racehorse Pass, locked it up and headed up. Blue skies, but it was a bit hot for my liking. Didn't start that early either so decided to make it a one peak day." — BertB • Aug 8, 2019
