Today Elvira has a cold so I decide to climb a more demanding mountain, in fact there are no paths, it has a hard slope and some rock block chaos can get you in a mess. The good part is that there are not many signs of civilization
and the route you create it yourself.
After more than 50 miles by car, I arrive at La Casa del Corral del Puerto near El Sabinar, next to the RM-702 highway.
I take a ravine on the northern slope to get closer to the peak. I try to avoid huge rocks but in some area I have to climb. I discover that I do not have coverage, but I write a message with my location and I give it to send. As I gain height, the mobile connects and the message arrives home. I try not to fall and I watch where I put my feet, I would not like to fall into some trap for animals (although it is something forbidden) of poachers.
The slope towards the top seems to have no end. When I'm almost up, they appear clear in the forest and I see some small meadow. At the top like a little while resting. I see peaks 80 miles away. I decide to go down the south face of the mountain following a ridge. This part is just as wild and it takes time. Near the car the dog of a shepherd barks me until it discovers that I am human and I am glad to finish the route. Returning home I think that I can hardly feel freer.
