"Parking is on Butler field rd in Wakefield, New Hampshire. It says private rd, but it is open for hikers. drive all the way up until there is a gate blocking the road, park here, try not to block the gate. from here you will walk up the hill, when the road turns left, there will be a small footpath on the right, continuing up. follow this path for about 25-30 minutes and you will reach the top of the mountain. the views are actually quite impressive for such an unknown mountain. I would say that this hike is kid and dog friendly, just wouldn't recommend it for old dogs. there are some steep and slippery spots to be wary of. Also, seems to be quite a few ticks around.
this is a must hike in my personal opinion. " — danbrandis • Jun 24, 2017
"Took Mom up this quaint little mountain on the boarders of Maine and New Hampshire. She loved it because she could see down below one of her favorite golf courses. There were quite a lot of man made fire pits and tables and chairs up on the summit.
