"The Cinderella Bitch Slap, 7h30 C2C. Smoke rolled in super early on, views were trash. Hell of a link up though. Tiara is a choss pile held together by moss. Scramble for sure. My route up Midday was also a scramble, just went straight for the summit trying to use as much solid rock as possible. All the others along the way are nice east running, some good fun trying to go fast on the many ridges you incounter. " — justinj • Aug 14, 2021
"February 6th 2021 (solo) : Fresh powder all the way through. No visible foot trail, must follow trail markers, I would advise bringing/following a map/phone/gps. Micro spikes and poles necessary; snow shoes recommended. Halfway up the tree line to the false summit is covered in 2ft of snow, major slog if not prepared. Did not attempt true summit as the downward portion of the ridge was covered heavy. Snow cornice with no visible rock, to sketchy for my liking, proceed at your own risk if you plan on going all the way. Views from false summit are satisficing as everything is coated in a blanket of snow + no wind at some points while I was there. Simply serene, I would recommend. " — Blasehead • Feb 6, 2021
"Wonderful day on Porcupine ridge. It was somewhat difficult figuring out which place to start ascending out of the creek but I did eventually see flagging tape that was going the right way. Fun scramble! Would love to traverse the long range of peaks between porcupine ridge midnight peak. Looks like a heck of a trip. " — Slogenstein • Dec 2, 2020
"Porcupine Loop to Midnight Peak, with two adjacent peaks added (Baldy West & South). The added difficulty and duration to the trip is why we did the loop clockwise, so we could start with the difficult scrambling required on Baldy’s west ridge. No water on route and exposed to the sun along the ridge for the vast majority of the day. The heat got to us by the time we reached Tiara Peak." — ivo • Aug 2, 2020
"We were looking at doing the full ridge but sadly one of our friends had stuff to do later in the day so we just decided to turn it into just a relaxing day and just do the first part of Porcupine. No regrets at all as it was still a great day with fantastic views and a fun ridge walk at times. " — snowsurfer • Jun 6, 2020
"Brent, Ron and I decided to finish off what I started a few weeks ago. The hike up was fine and uneventful. We topped out at the "ridge" high point and then kept going. That's where Ron decided to turn back since he didn't want to do the knife edge. Brent was game and the two of us kept going. Ron decided that since he had his own car he'd go back and so began our unplanned adventure. We dipped down into the col and went up the next peak. We hit two more high points after that before descending into Porcupine Creek and walking out that way. All in all a good day and some of our route-finding. We did a particularly fun scramble up the last high point. Weather was perfect. Only three ticks found in my bath water that evening." — leigh-annewebster • May 21, 2018
