"Blizzard conditions on the summit meant approx 1m visibility and severe winds. We got as close to the summit as possible in very poor conditions and I came away with mild frostbite in my fingers. Ran back to the bus in fading light and just made it...An amazing adventure that I would readily do again!" — WanderlustingRunner • Dec 14, 2019
"z Pece na Vyrovku a druhy den na Snezku, lanovkou na Ruzovou horu, na Ruzohorky a pesky dolu lesem k dolni stanici lanovky. Vse zmrzle, na koni cca 1/2 cesty od Slezskeho domu na vrchol. " — anyz • Mar 4, 2018
"An outing during a stay in Wrocław. We parked in the large car park at Prz. Walimowska (10 złoty). Beginning on the black trail round the north flank of the mountain, we diverted onto a higher forest track that met the yellow trail up the west ridge via Mała Sowa. This was steep at first but soon leveled off along the ridge, with opening views through the forest of beech, firs and bilberry. A short pull brought us onto the cluttered summit area. We then climbed the 25m observation tower (6 złoty each) to view the fine, if hazy, panorama. To descend, we followed the yellow trail west for several hundred metres, then taking the blue trail north back to the car park. Hazy sunshine, clouding over more later. Strong south-east wind. Spotted Vanessa atalanta, Aglais urticae and Pararge aegeria butterflies in a forest clearing as we descended. " — marktrengove • Aug 4, 2017
"We began our walk in Pec pod Sněžkou (altitude 800-odd metres above sea level) and walked via Obří důl up to Sněžka. We returned to Pec via Luční bouda with its monumental mountain. The chairlift was out of action on the day we did our walk, owing to scheduled maintenance, and the weather was glorious, so we were far from the only people climbing the mountain that day!" — isabellehatfield • Jun 16, 2012
