"Absolutely beautiful day in southern Utah sightseeing and taking in all the fall colors. Bagged a couple peaks along the way. Both of them probably the easiest peaks ever. First was Point supreme an easy short climb up from the cedar break’s national monument visitors center and then drove over to Brian head peak. The well maintained gravel road takes you all the way to the summit and just a short walk out to the overlook. Both peaks wearing flip flops. 🤣" — maggielynn • Oct 1, 2025
"On the second day of leaf peeping, we drove up to Beaver, then followed UT-153 through the mountains to the other side and down US-89. Instead of continuing on US-89 S in Panguitch, we continued straight on UT-143 to head back to Panguitch Lake and back to Cedar Breaks, which was had skipped for lack of time the day before. Thanks to the Peakery App (woo!) I knew that Point Supreme counted as a summit. So, with only 45 minutes left in the day for Cedar Breaks National Monument being open for business/visitation, we wandered out to the overlook at Point Supreme, and then up and over on the hiking trail to find the actual "peak". Cedar Breaks is absolutely gorgeous. Different than Bryce Canyon, for sure. And whenever I'm up here leaf peeping, always worth a visit and a look. Geology ROCKS. :D " — psychikingjes • Oct 1, 2020
