"My brother and I completed what was once considered Arizona's toughest - or one of the toughest - 2000 ft. prominence peaks. The fire from last year burned most of the manzanita and other bushes away. However, the ground was pretty loose for much of the upper slopes. Still, we probably had an easier time than having to bushwhack through all that stuff. There were a lot of weeds and smaller bushes coming back. We got my Honda Civic as far as we could on the dirt roads, and so we ended up doing about a total of 4.4 miles more than what the hike could be if you have 4WD and high clearance. I will post the video on YouTube as soon as I get it done. It's definitely one of the best prominence peaks in my view." — ZachTeich • Nov 19, 2022
"Afternoon Hike to this Peak, Not an easy one with plenty Bushwaking through Brush and Thorns. The top get a bit steep and climbing Rocks and Boulders to reach the Summit Block. My a good idea to bring a Rope for someone who's is not comfortable with climbing and exposure. Rarely visited Peak" — Nuernberger • May 11, 2016
