"My son and I returned to the Sierra de La Pila on a fast and circular afternoon route of about 6 miles that begins from the Collado de Turra firebreak to Pico 1027 m and from here along the ridge in a southwesterly direction to Pico Pila . The area is quite rugged and rocky and populated with abundant vegetation.
We reached the peaks during the day but at the last one it is almost night and we return along the forest track with the lights passing by the snow pits. Nobody in these mountains today except us, the lights of the villages and other towns begin to shine with the arrival of night." — franciscobirruezo • Jan 16, 2024

"This peak located in the center of a natural park does not cease to amaze me, a couple of lizards welcomed us and I followed one that ran like a hare, to take a photo.
The last slopes make you sweat and some cyclist who also went up was KO. Many butterflies ate and spun on us." — franciscobirruezo • May 27, 2017
