"During an unexpected Overnight stay in Saint MartinI got a unique opportunity to climb the highest Peak of the Island during the Night. Took a Taxi to Loterie Farm and then followed up the Road to the Antenna before making a left turn to follow an uphill climb to the Peak Plateau of Pic du Paradis. After stumbling around in the Pitch-black Night for a while I was able to find the Peak Marker. A great view overlooking the Town below and listening to the waves from the nearby Beach below. It was just about that. She also guided me to the western tower as the "High Point." When I got to the top, I realized that wasn't the case. When you reach the road, backtrack to the east and you will see a large trail heading up to a group of 4 or 5 towers. It takes about 5 minutes (if you go slow) to go up and back from the road. When I went up, the road was empty. Whe..." — edwandall • Jun 7, 2011
