Since it was a chilly winter day, and we weren't starting until afternoon, we chose to explore close to home. We parked near the Taborton Fire House - in snowmobile parking, and hiked Lindeman Road to Eastern Turnpike of 1802 to Geiser Preserve and Perigo Hill. The sun was beautiful on the new snow and there was no wind. Lots of icy water crossings (shallow for the most part). The trail is seldom used from what we could tell - no other human footprints, but plenty of animal tracks (coyote, deer of all sizes, rabbit & others) to follow. It was a great day to be out!
