Hiked with Kim. Started out around 10:30. The trail in was very flat but nicely maintained for the most part, nice view of Thirteenth Lake during the first part of the hike. We didn’t have many problems with bugs, which is great! We saw lots of frogs & red efts, so cute! Kim also spotted a beaver near its dam. We made quick work of the flat & soon came up to the mountain proper, what a fun little climb, scrambly and short. The summit had a glorious breeze that we enjoyed for quite awhile, though there was a large group of hikers up there being so, so loud and obnoxious. The view was hazy but very beautiful, I really enjoyed this one, and it wasn’t too far from home! 27/29 for the 29ers! Getting close!
