"Some summits on a trip to Wodonga. Drove to Bairnsdale, then north onto Mt Baldhead Road. Stopped near the junction with Morris Peak Rd. Walked up the spur to the top of Peak 897 m VK3/VG-080 and set up the radio gear, making 14 contacts. packed up and returned to the car and drove to Mount Baldhead. Walked over to the trig. Found a spot nearby to set up the radio gear and activated VK3/VG-027, making 10 contacts. Packed up and drove to below Mount Delusion VK3/VG-026. Walked in to the high point & returned to the car. Set up the radio gear and made 12 contacts. Drove out along Mt Delusion Road and north to the Great Alpine Road and headed to Wodonga." — peterfreeman • Dec 17, 2018
"A long day travelling up to Wodonga. I tried a diferent route this time. East to Bairnsdale and then north to Mount Taylor and worked my way to Mt Baldhead Road. First stop at the junction with Morris Peak Road and walked up to the top of Peak 897 m (VK3/VG-080) to set up the radio gear. Quickly made 6 contacts and then returned to the car. North to Mount Baldhead VK3/VG-027. Walked to teh top and again set up the radio gear, making 8 contacts. Packed up and then travelled north and took Dorothy Cutting and Grassy Ridge Track and around to below Mt Delusion VK3/VG-026. Walked to the summit and again set up the radio gear to make 8 contacts.
Returned to the car and exitted to the east via Mount Delusion Road and to Swifts Creek. North on the Great Alpine Road and then up Splitters Road to Splitters Ridge VK3/VG-036 (not yet on Peakery - will add). After setting up the radio gear, I made 6 contacts. I packed up and retraced my route back to the Great Alpine Road and into Omeo, then out to Sam Hill / Mount Sam VK3/VG-049 to climb to the top and set up. Made 7 contacts before packing up. Descended to the car and back to the Omeo Highway, then north on Omeo Valley Road and on to knocke..." — peterfreeman • Oct 14, 2017
