"I had seen this peak last year when I camped out in Wallace Canyon. It seemed very prominent & was quite pretty. I found no logs or trip reports anywhere for it. I've been waiting ever since to get up it. I drove out the Wheeler Pass Road & took the right split up toward Clark Canyon. I parked at a camp spot right off the road to the NNW of the peak. Seemed to be a hunting camp. I hiked back an old road for a very short distance which ended at another hunting camp. From there I started heading toward the peak. This area was very brushy & thick with low pines. There is a good bit of bushwhacking to get through here. I had intended to go up a ridge to the north, but I couldn't see out of the trees & wound up ascending a ridge to the NNW of the summit. It had big cliffs & I was a bit worried when it finally cleared out & I could see where I was headed! When I got to the cliffs, I thought I might go to the left/north into a gully, but that was very rough with huge formations & cliffs. Going right didn't look much better!
