Parking lot was full at Glenwood Camp with visitors staying there. So I had to park at a turnout just above the camp and descend the steep slope. Once in the camp, I made a beeline to the trail in order to begin climbing. This was a quick ascent but a good one for views of the surrounding peaks. On the way back, I had to climb back up the embankment to my parking turnout (just a little extra workout on an already hot day. The embankment mileage is not included in the stats).
