It is a clear day today and I decide to approach the Sierra de Lugar near the village of La Garapacha. There are already quite a few almond trees in bloom due to the heat records in December, however we return to the cold these days of January. As I go up I see a guy with a helmet and harness who was doing the via ferrata running down, I thought he needed help but he greeted me calmly and kept running. At the top of the peak 613m I had a small lunch and from there I took a steep trail to the ridge that leads to the 699m peak. This mountain range is like an island surrounded by low-lying areas and is interesting for its geology and its caves, and it is rarely visited.
