A moderate climb up Skyline Dr from Corona and a short stint on Main Divide, passing south by Beeks along the way will get you to this well-known spot. The "ball" on the peak is the KSOX Doppler, used by ABC7 Los Angeles as the Live Megadoppler 7000HD weather radar. The peak's elevation is approximate as it lies between the 3,000' - 3,040' contour. It is a short 30-50 yard detour from Main Divide. It was my first of 4 summits that day, including Mine II Benchmark, Hagador, and Pleasants Peaks coming from Skyline in Corona on a long, exhausting, wonderful, beautiful day in the Santa Ana Mountains. It was the day after rain, so the air was fresh with sage and sagebrush!
