Just past the meeting point of Modjeska Canyon Rd and Markuson Rd, I crossed the small bridge and immediately parked in a pullout on the side of the road. I walked to Markuson Rd and continued to an easement between two properties. The paved easement quickly turns into a dirt road and thus begins the natural portion of the hike. The wide pathway climbs nearly continuously toward a high point, which is Peak 2220. Surprisingly, I found a surveyor marker on the summit.
