12.26.2020~Hoover Dam 6 pack traverse from Casino to Promontory. Solo. Uranus, Pluto, Rough Benchmark, 1,880’, “J” Hill & Promontory Peaks. 9 miles, 2,800’ gain, 4:32hrs. Epic. Jimmy went for a tunnels trail run and met me for the trail run back to my car when I was done with the traverse. Saw one Bighorn Ram along the Ridge. Not sure anyone has ever traversed this entire land mass (or would even want to) but I enjoyed it to the utmost and found it very satisfying. I consumed one toasted marshmallow gel, a Christmas cookie and 1.2 liters of water.
