"GPS/GPX recording is very noisy, and my estimate is about 1.5 miles hiked from the “No Name” Parking Lot (below 1000’) on connecting trail across Mountain Creek Nature Trail Loop (below 940’) to Pine Mountain Trail to connecting trail to the park office on top of Peak 1313’ for a net elevation gain of more than 313’ and total elevation gain of more than 373’ one way. Out and back would have been a total elevation gain of more than 400’, but we stopped at the top." — davidensley • May 18, 2022
"Hiked Pine Mountain Trail from Buzzards Roost Parking to connecting trail to peak. Besides bagging the peak, purpose of hike was to record track of overgrown road from top of Buzzard Roost rock face to base of rock face. Morning clouds and fog blocked beautiful views of Pine Mountain Valley." — davidensley • Feb 27, 2021
