"Another day trip out from Wodonga. Headed south to Tawonga nd drove up to Tawonga Gap where I met with Mark VK3ASC and his wife. We drove north along Tawonga Gap Track and I parked at the junction with Running Creek Keiwa Divide Track. I jumped in with Mark and we headed north along the Divide. We drove out to just below Peak 1204 m, known in SOTA as VK3/VE-092. We walked into the bush to the high pooint and set up the radio gear. This was a first activation. I made 22 contacts and Mark also qualified the summit. We packed up and retraced our access route until we reached VK3/VE-113, Peak 1121 m. We parked and again walked into the high point to set up the station. I made 14 contacts. We packed up and resumed the route south and then headed to Peak 1157 VK3/VE-092, where we again set up the radio gear at the high point. I made 22 contacts. After we packed up, Mark dropped me back at my car before he headed west along the track to find a spot to camp for the night. I returned to Tawonga Gap and headed back to Wodonga." — peterfreeman • Apr 19, 2014
