Finally, after a hikeless January, I got to my first peak of the year, Peak 1112, a small summit in Powder Canyon not too far from Powder Canyon High Point (Peak 1416'). I did not have the plan to summit anything but was looking for a peaceful day in Powder Canyon to enjoy the oaks and shrubs. I saw this hill with a use trail up it previously, and again noticed it on this day, so I just decided to climb it to at least get a summit climb in. It is a very short, but steep-ish hill. I started from a parking lot in Schabarum Park around the s.w. end of the park giving me roughly a 550' climb.
