Peak 1027 m

"Good day to go up mountains, due to the anticyclone it is colder in the valleys than in the peaks. The sky was cloudless today and the wind calm. It is my fifth ascent to this mountain and I have climbed it in good physical shape, better than I would ever say, although I have not uploaded the information to peakery, I have not stopped climbing mountains and my legs respond well. I had a granddaughter and that has kept me quite busy. My company changed my job to do engineering projects and the issue of the pandemic also came up. My whole world turned upside down, but now I am a different man, with less stress, with more courage and above all, freer. Having said this, I have seen that Nature has recovered in this period, Today I have seen an eagle and a horseshoe snake and many wild boars, luckily I am not their food, hahaha" — franciscobirruezo • Jan 29, 2022

"We have gone to the Sierra de la Pila Natural Park, the day started with a strong and fresh wind and the temperature at the beginning of the route was 7 degrees Celsius. During the climb we have collected thyme and rosemary which are very useful for making herbal teas. This area is very lonely today considering that it is the weekend but many people decide to stay home when the wind picks up. At the top the clouds moved fast over our heads while we meditated a bit to relax our minds. "I go to Puerto Frio passing through the village of Garapacha, where it smells like fig trees. Yesterday's rains have watered the almond and olive groves. I ride slowly on the motorcycle enjoying these landscapes where time is only a modern invention. The morning is fresh and I will climb the Pico 1027 m first, then the Cabezo de La Turra and finally the Pico 947 m. In the three peaks I am alone, accompanied by the wind and the birds. "The last three days seem like an Autumn early here with rains and cooler temperatures than usual. So something impelled me this morning to climb this mountain and at the same time give photographic testimony of those autumnal colors in August. "We come from the Peak 908 m and we follow a forest track in good condition but with steep slope. We go to the North Side and here the forest is quite leafy. Near the summit the path narrows.
