"This was my first time at Mesa Verde National Park. I completed this hike solo after my friend Michael had to return home.
This trail is a paved path to a fire lookout. The views are spectacular from the top. There is a fire outpost, a geological survey marker, some informative signs, and a few telescopes at the summit. On a clear day, you can see 40-50 miles in some directions. The trail is super short, slightly steep, and wheelchair-accessible.
This trail is definitely worth hiking if you are at Mesa Verde National Park. However, I would not drive to the park just for this hike. " — Noodles • Jun 7, 2021
