8/29/21: From Rainbow Lakes CG via Arapaho Glacier Trl and Overlook. The summer smoke haze started coming back down to the Front Range from WY and got progressively worse through the day. Still an amazing ridge hike up to and across Caribou Point. Double ridge hike? What does it mean?! The Arapaho Overlook is spectacular but 13K’ clouds crept in over the Divide Ridge by the time I got up Old Baldy. Lots of marmots, pika, and a troop of White Tail Ptarmigan on the way down!
