I was able to park at the Shattuck Observatory parking lot, here at Dartmouth University, since this was a holiday, so the ascent was literally a couple hundred feet. Nice setup at the top with adirondack chairs to enjoy the view, under the watchful eye of the Robert Frost statue (and the campus PD).
