Hiked up to Long's Pass for a close look at the route up the south face of Mt Stuart, hoping it would be feasible to attempt before the snow gets too deep. Snow started around 5500' and was up to 10" deep in some places. This area must be crazy busy on weekends as the parking lot was full when I returned at 2:00 on a Thursday.

I followed a faint boot path from the pass up to the summit on the way to Ingalls Peak, but knee pain on the descent convinced me to call it an early day. If USGS has been to this one, I had no luck finding a marker.
