"Camped solo close to the summit. Easy hike up with the gear and loads of amazing spots to pitch a 2 man tent. Many, however we’re quite boggy due to it being mid January. Night time temps got down to 1 deg C with a very slight breeze. Woke up to an amazing sunrise and a blue bird day." — nickemms • Nov 13, 2021
"A nice circular 5-6 hour hike across from Heiahorn going bk via Ostre R peak. Lovely views across the mountains and lakes from the summit. A fairly steep assent to the summit, but no scrambling. Plenty of flat ground to pitch a tent on the summit." — nickemms • Aug 21, 2021
"Hiked Heiahorn - Nagganibba - Ostre Revafjell. 5-6 hours hiking time. Very nice in lovely sunny conditions. Nice views from the summit of Ostre Revafjell. Found the perfect spot to pitch a tent just below the second Vestre Revafjell peak (didn’t summit 2nd R peak as away from the track and we had limited time). You cannot miss the camp site, just follow the trail to directly below the Vestre Revafjell peak where it opens up again to views of the lakes below. Amazing views and truly peaceful! Photo below shows small possible camping spot. Another perfect camping spot would be on the summit of Vestre Revafjell. " — nickemms • Aug 21, 2021
"27 deg C hiking up which was lovely. It was still hot through the night but no condensation on the sleeping bag as slept in the bivvie. Arrived at the summit around 18:00. Didn’t see a single person up there. Lovely views and the perfect spot for a bivvie camp." — nickemms • Jul 25, 2021
"Hiked up in pretty poor conditions. Heavy cloud meant it was almost a whiteout at the top. My plan was to hit the 3 peaks south also but poor visibility put an end to that. Very nice hike up, nice gentle gradient and clearly marked. Was boggy underfoot at the start of the root but fine higher up. I walked in from Jorpeland, took 1hr 45mins to reach the car park/trail head. I would recommend driving up if possible. Very nice spots to camp both at the top and just below. I will definitely do this hike again." — nickemms • Mar 25, 2021
