I'd done South Uncanoonuc a couple years ago, and today I figured I'd finish off the pair. The trails were really well blazed and I was actually surprised by the nice view of Manchester and the towers on South Uncanoonuc from the summit scenic viewpoint. The Red Dot trail was a steep ascent that would put a few 4000-footer trails to shame. The Blue Trail down was much easier on the knees. The Class 6 trail was a wide and easy walk both on the way up and down. All the trails were pretty dry even after yesterday's rain.
