"A nice jaunt out to North Dome and then a quick climb of Indian Rock. There's some confusion online, but the natural arch is *not* Indian Rock. (Peakery has Indian Rock in the correct location.) North Dome has easily the best views of the face of Half Dome.
Indian Rock is a short class 2+ scramble with a few dozen feet of exposure, but finding a nontechnical route was nontrivial. I found a ramp that heads away from the top on the north side of the ridge up to a notch, from which it was relatively easy to take the ridge to the top." — sareine • Aug 16, 2020

"Started at porcupine creek trailhead and followed the trails taking three lefts to the North Dome summit. Round trip distance was 9.6 miles with 2070 feet of elevation gain. Even though the summit is at a lower elevation than the trailhead. The trail roller coasters up and down with the steepest section before your first trail junction." — Zardoz • Aug 9, 2019

"First backpack of the season and one of the best I've ever done. Toured the north rim of Yosemite starting from the trail to upper Yosemite Falls and descending Snow Creek. The first day we camped on the rim just above North Dome before tagging the summit the next morning. Easily the most spectacular backcountry campsite I've ever had." — Christopher • May 18, 2013
