"Clockwise trip along black hill range to it's high point, pt 2114. Travelled back along the araroa trail. Half the route in rain and cloud.
Came across a large native slug, highlight of the trip. Haha. " — AidanAstwood • Apr 9, 2023

"Walked into Edwards hut Sunday evening.
Next day walked up to amber col, dropped bag and easy scramble up falling mountain with impressive dropoff on NW side. returned to amber col, moderate scramble up over pt 1828 then easy traverse to Mt Scott and over to Mt Wilson. Scree is horrible on Mt Scott and Wilson, firm snow conditions would have been preferred. Lots of exposure on east side of polar range.
Dropped back into Edwards valley and a night walk out with a blue duck along the way. " — AidanAstwood • Jan 1, 2023
