Finally made it to Mineral King after my car broke down on the ride in 6 years ago. Took the shortcut trail up to Glacier Pass then over to Sawtooth. Traversed to Needham by 12:30. Thought I might get lucky with rain but had to hunker down at amphitheater lake until some overhead storms cleared. Then had a nice round of thunder hail for the last few miles out...
