Otjozondjupa mountains

"Myself, Hannes Smit, Jaco Van Den Berg and Tobias Verwey, had a rugged Valentine’s Day climb up the Omatako South Mountain. The terrain was super tough with overgrown bush and thorn trees. So needless to say it was a blood bath on the legs and our gear took heavy hits!! It was definitely more bundu bashing up a 46-70% gradient mountain, but at the end it was an awesome day out with good friends, all sharing some blood and sweat on the mountain." — lpvan-der-westhuizen • Feb 14, 2026
