I first noticed these peaks from After Work Peak. Drove out West End Wash Rd to check the area out, camp & do some painting. I do not recommend driving out this way from West End Wash unless you have a very capable HC 4WD vehicle & someone who knows how to drive it! Most of the road just has deep sand, but there is one 30-50 foot hill which is in bad shape. There are sandstone, loose rocks & deep ruts to contend with. Going up it was ok, coming back down it is a little scary! There are numerous peaks & crags out here to explore. Decided to climb up & traverse the ridge to this one because it is the most dramatic looking one. I parked & camped right below it, in between it & Mud Hill. Went up the little unnamed peak beside it first, then over to this one. Very rugged ridge with lots of sharp, loose rock & a good bit of scrambling. Nice views.
