I climbed Mud Tower the day before, spent the afternoon painting & then camped out that way that night. This beautiful peak kept calling my name & I couldn't resist trying to find a way up the next morning. I hiked back the wash on the ESE side & made my way back to the NNE slope. The hike up was relatively short, but not very pleasant. The rock was some of the worst I've experienced out there & that's saying a lot! Loose, crumbly & awful. The top had some class 3 on rock that just breaks apart. I managed to find a better way down, but it was still not great. Good views. I was relieved when I safely got back down. The top is narrow & very loose as well. I never felt like I had full control of my feet the whole hike.
