Ok this one got me. I don;t think I have been this scared in a long time! We got a late start so didnt start until about 2pm. And when did we finish?? Anou 9pm!!! the first part is a nice hike as you come up to the sheer rock face you climb through a "chimney" which isnt difficult just awkward with a big pack on. You the travers the back side of the mountain on loose scree. About halway to summit you rach a part where a cable has been installed and you need to traverse a "cliff". The pics will show better. The way down isnt meant to be bad as it is basically a "scree run" meaning loose gravel. So you can basically run down it and the gravel will slow you down. But thats not what happened. We got to the frontside when it was dark and the scree was frozen. So instaead we had to "glisade" a bit and use our ice axes to walk down in pitch black. Lots of fun I tell you. Would like to do this one again in daylight!
